What's the story?

Bleacher Report posted a hilarious picture to their Instagram account on Wednesday night showing the Los Angeles Clippers' "secret tunnel" being blocked off. This was in response to the locker room fight between the Clippers and the Houston Rockets in mid-January.

In case you didn't know...

On the night of this fight in mid-January, the Clippers played tribute to Chris Paul; who played for the team for six seasons before being traded to Houston in June for Patrick Beverley and several other players and draft picks. The departure led to the tension on the court for that game.

The heart of the matter

When the Clippers and Rockets faced off on January 15th, things got so heated that it spilt into the locker room area after the game. Trevor Ariza, James Harden, and Chris Paul came through a back corridor which led to the Clippers locker room where they were looking for Austin Rivers and Blake Griffin.

Nothing came about the incident as security and team officials were quick to intervene

The Clippers hilariously decided to take measures into their own hands on Wednesday and "blocked off" that secret passageway as you can see in the Instagram post from Bleacher Report below:

The result of the game itself turned out well for the NBA's hottest team, the Houston Rockets, as they won their 14th straight game to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 105-92. The win put the Rockets a half-game ahead of the Golden State Warriors for first place in the Western Conference.

What's next?

The Rockets (48-13) will look to extend their winning streak to 15 games in a big matchup with the Boston Celtics (44-19) on ABC Saturday night.

The Clippers (32-28) fell out of the playoff picture with the loss on Wednesday and look to get back on track against the New York Knicks (24-38) on Friday evening.

Author's take

That was definitely a hilarious response to the situation from January. Obviously, that wouldn't keep anyone from going through that door if tempers flared again, but it appears that things were a lot calmer on Wednesday's game.

However, Wesley Johnson's pride definitely took a hit after this move from James Harden...
