Giannis Antetokounmpo is arguably the best player in the league today. He led the Milwaukee Bucks to the NBA title in the 2020-21 season.

The Bucks have done a lot to ensure the 27-year-old superstar is happy in Milwaukee, including signing his brother Thanasis. Thanasis joined the Bucks as a free agent in 2019 and has one more year left on his contract.

On What's Wright, analyst Nick Wright spoke about Giannis Antetokounmpo's situation. Wright explained that Milwaukee must do everything in their power to keep Giannis happy.

"Giannis deserves at least the respect I get." Wright jokingly said. "Why do they keep hiring Antetokounmpos makes a lot of sense. The best player in the league likes hanging out with him... Happy Giannis, great franchise."

Wright also pointed out how the Lakers signed Kostas Antetokounmpo in 2019 in an attempt to bring Giannis to LA. Kostas was drafted with the 60th overall pick in 2018 and landed with the Dallas Mavericks. He was waived by them and picked up by the Lakers in 2019.

"The Lakers gave Kostas a job years ago, just in hopes if Giannis was a free agent he'd go there."

While Giannis Antetokounmpo's brothers aren't big-name players, they still do play a role on their respective teams.

Kostas has been used primarily in garbage time by the Lakers, but he is only 24 and should improve over time.

Thanasis, meanwhile, has appeared in most of the games for the Bucks since joining the team. He has even started on 11 occasions.

The fourth Antetokounmpo brother is Alex. He is a 6-foot-8 forward who hasn't gained any experience in the NBA yet. Alex was signed by the Toronto Raptors on October 13, 2021, but was waived just two days later.

He is only 20, though, and has plenty of time to develop his game.
