1. She was born in Cuba

Prieto was born in Cuba to Carlos and Maria Prieto. The family later moved to Miami, FL, where she grew up. She studied business management in college and worked in her father's business after graduating.

After working for her father, she was a manager at Beet the LBS and worked at the property management firm Aqua Management.


2. She is a model

Yvette Prieto is a model who has worked with many popular designer brands like Alexander Wang. She also appeared in a documentary “Cuba: An Island Apart”.


3. She is a proud mother of twins and a stepmother to three

Prieto and Jordan have twin daughters Victoria and Ysabel who were born February 9th, 2014. Prieto is also a stepmother Jordan’s three children from his previous marriage. Jordan shares Jasmine, Jeffery and Marcus with his first wife Juanita.


4. She once declared bankruptcy

Prieto had some financial difficulties prior to meeting Jordan. Back in 2002 she filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.


5. How Rich is Yvette Prieto?

Prieto is estimated to be worth $50 million dollars. She is married to Jordan whose worth is estimated at $2.2 billion, but the two do have a prenuptial agreement. The terms of the deal are believed to be that Prieto will be entitled to $1 million for every year the couple has been married in the event of a divorce. That figure is estimated to escalate to $5 million per year for every year after 10 years of marriage.
