Trail Blazers' Starting Lineup: Portland Trail Blazers' Predicted Starting Lineup Against Oklahoma City Thunder
After getting swept by the New Orleans Pelicans in the First Round of the 2018 NBA playoffs, the Portland Trail Blazers re-signed Jusuf Nurkic for a 4-year, $48 million deal in the offseason. The front office also did a great job of adding players like Seth Curry and Nik Stauskas to add depth to their roster.
As expected, the Blazers have started the season hot and were at one point of time placed at the top of the Western Conference Standings table. The duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum continue to harass the opposition defenses and are giving them a tough time.
Jusuf Nurkic is averaging a double-double over the year, for the second time in his career and has been dominating the players in the paint all season long. Seth Curry and Nik Stauskas are filling some solid minutes coming off the bench and the Blazers are currently fourth in West with 29-19 win-loss record.
The Blazers are currently on a three-game win streak and are coming off a great win against the Utah Jazz on the road. They will now travel to Oklahoma City to take on the conference rivals, Thunder.
This marquee matchup is expected to go down to the wire and will definitely be a feast for basketball lovers. A win tomorrow will help the Blazers go past the Thunder and take the third spot in Western Conference Standings.
However, registering a win against a quality team like Thunder, on the road, is not going to be an easy task for the Blazers and they will have fight for it. The Thunder are on a two-game winning streak with Paul George playing the best basketball of his career this year.
Predicted Portland Trail Blazers' starting line-up:
Maurice Harkless (F), Al-Farouq Aminu (F), Jusuf Nurkic (C), CJ McCollum (G) and Damian Lillard (G)
