The second quarter was very tight and didn’t yield many points to either team. Apart from the fantastic back-to-back 3 pointers from Haryana’s No.14, the quarter did not have a lot of scoring opportunities. The first half of the match concluded at 31-28, with Haryana in the lead.

The third quarter saw a strong comeback from the Delhi Capitals as they scored 31 points and Haryana Gold only 18. Thanks to the attacking prowess of Delhi players Sachin and Ali, who scored a couple of 3 pointers and five 2 pointers combined, the Capitals gained a strong foothold in the match.

The crowd favourites Delhi seemed to take all the energy from the spectators ended the quarter in the lead, at 59-49.

With 1 minute remaining in the game, Delhi trailing 69-73, there came a 3 pointer from Delhi to make it 73-72. But then a double shoot fault for the Haryana, which they made the best out of, made the score 75-72.

A 3 pointer equalizer from the Delhi Capitals created a thunderous roar, making it 75-75. With 25 seconds remaining Haryana Gold made a fault, giving two shoot candies to the Delhi team. Delhi only got one out of the two, making the score 76-75.

With just seven seconds remaining, Haryana got the ball, and they stormed it to the basket and made a 2 pointer to complete a thrilling win.
