The UConn vs Gonzaga matchup is the second game of the Elite Eight round of March Madness 2023. This is arguably the most interesting game as the two teams are evenly matched up.
The game will tip-off at 8:50 PM Eastern Time on Saturday. Considering that both the UConn Huskies and the Gonzaga Bulldogs are among the favorites to win the tournament, the matchup will be very interesting.
The NCAA Tournament has been very competitive so far and there have been several major upsets. However, both UConn and Gonzaga have gone far, just as it was projected.

No. 4 UConn faced No. 13 Iona in the first round of the tournament, earning an easy 24-point victory. The Huskies defeated Saint Mary's in the second round, while their Sweet Sixteen opponent was Arkansas.
UConn has been one of the best teams in the tournament so far. In the first three rounds, the Huskies defeated their opponents by an average of 20.7 points, which is very impressive.
No. 3 Gonzaga, on the other hand, hasn't been able to win games in convincing fashion. The Bulldogs faced No. 14 Grand Canyon in the first round, winning the game by 12 points. However, this was their only double-digit victory of the tournament.

Gonzaga had a 3-point victory over No. 6 TCU in the second round, as well as over the second-seeded UCLA Bruins in the Sweet Sixteen.
There have been five UConn vs Gonzaga matchups so far, with the Huskies winning three of them. Their last game was in November 2015, when the Bulldogs earned another 3-point victory.
Gonzaga's frontcourt of Drew Timme and Anton Watson will be crucial in the next matchup. The two forwards combined for 44 points, 22 rebounds and three blocks in the Sweet Sixteen matchup against UCLA.
