Watch: LeBron James loses it as courtside fan tells him to "get that sh*t together with that receding hairline"

After the LA Lakers dropped an incredibly frustrating loss to the LA Clippers on Tuesday night, LeBron James had to deal with a heckler sitting courtside. After his team looked like they were about to make a spectacular comeback, things fell apart thanks to some awful turnovers.

Footage surfaced of LeBron James sitting on the Lakers' bench looking frustrated and baffled in the fourth quarter. Despite putting up a whopping 46 points in 32 minutes, James watched yet another winnable game slip. After the final horn, the four-time NBA champion was headed back to the locker room when a courtside fan began heckling him.

James seemingly wanted all of the smoke, immediately turning to the man. Fortunately for whoever it was that yelled, security guards quickly whisked the Akron native away, preventing the situation from escalating.

"Hey Bron! Hey you better get this s**t together ***** with that receding ass hairline. Look he's mad! Look at him! You stink!"

As the video cuts out, the man lowers the camera while James can be seen talking with a security guard momentarily.

The NBA is yet to decide if that fan will face any repercussions for the incident. In the past, fans who have heckled players excessively and sparked back-and-forth exchanges have received punishments from home teams. Given that this was a home game for the LA Lakers, the team could either suspend the fan, or ban him outright.

You can see the video of the verbal altercation above.

LeBron James and the LA Lakers lose to the LA Clippers

After the 133-115 loss to the LA Clippers, it was no surprise that LeBron James was upset. While he's chasing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's regular season scoring record, he's also trying to help his team make the playoffs. At 38, the fact that James is trying to carry a team to the playoffs is astounding.

It was the Lakers' 10th straight loss to the LA Clippers. After James' 46 points, the next highest scorer on the team was Russell Westbrook, who scored 17 points on 4-13 from the field. Without Anthony Davis, the spectacular performances James continues to put on often leave the team coming up short.

Without other key players he can rely on late-game, LeBron James will likely continue to find himself stuck between a rock and a hard place. Fortunately for him, and the rest of Lakers Nation, the team recently acquired Rui Hachimura, who is expected to make significant contributions to the team.

Hachimura is averaging 13.0 points per game on 48.8% from the field this season. With the six-foot-eight forward out of Gonzaga eager to prove himself, the Lakers' season could be in for quite the turnaround if Anthony Davis can return healthy.
