What is Luka Doncic's net worth as of 2022? All you need to know
Luka Doncic has been one of the most highly touted young prospects in the world for many years now. Before declaring for the draft, Doncic already had quite a bit of pressure on him. In 2015, Doncic made his professional debut for Real Madrid at just 16 years old, the youngest in the franchise's history. Quickly, he managed to make a name for himself.
In just two years Doncic went from a promising young standout to the Euroleague MVP after winning the Euro championship. The success didn't stop there for the Slovenian superstar. His Euroleague MVP season, which is still talked about to this day, has proven to be the launching point for the rest of his career rather than the high point.
All these years later, Doncic has continued to break barriers, set records, and prove the doubters wrong. With that, of course, comes an incredible paycheck for being one of the best players in the world. Today we're taking a look at Doncic's net worth over the years. From a young teenager signing a five-year deal with Real Madrid in 2012, to NBA superstar, Doncic has made quite a bit of money.
Before we get started you can take a look at some of his highlights from his time spent with Real Madrid.
Luka Doncic's $25 million net worth and contracts over the years
When Luka Doncic was just 13 years old, he signed a contract with Real Madrid that was groundbreaking at the time. Fast forward several years to the 2018 NBA draft, when Doncic was selected by the Atlanta Hawks, and that contract came back around to bite him. With his Real Madrid contract still in effect, Doncic then found himself between a rock and a hard place when it came to his NBA debut.
After being traded to the Dallas Mavericks on draft night, coach Rick Carlisle revealed that Doncic hadn't participated in a practice with the team given the ongoing dispute. Fortunately, a $2 million buyout saw him a free man.

When he finally signed with the Mavericks, he signed a four-year contract worth $32,467,751 that saw him earning an average of $8,116,938 per year with $14,244,000 guaranteed. After that, he unsurprisingly signed a massive five-year extension with the Dallas franchise this past offseason.
The deal was worth a total of $215,159,700 million, meaning he earns $43,031,940 per year as a starting rate. Every year, the amount goes up incrementally until Doncic earns a whopping $48,967,380 in the final year of his contract.
Add onto that Doncic's five-year $75 million contract signed with Jordan Brand back in 2019, and Doncic is worth an estimated $25 million right now. With how much the young superstar is set to make in the years to come, that number will surely continue to climb.
