When Charles Barkley chose KFC over Kim Kardashian and Halle Berry: "I'm going right for that chicken"

Charles Barkley once proved on Inside the NBA in February 2020 that he loves food more than anything. Barkley went on to choose a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken over Kim Kardashian and Halle Berry in a hilarious segment.

In the video below, "Sir Charles" discussed that he wouldn't think twice about selecting fried chicken over two of the prettiest women in the world. The former MVP explained that he'll never stop eating chicken.

"If I walk in a room, and Kim Kardashian was there and Halle Berry and a bucket of chicken, I'm going right for that chicken," Barkley said. "Never gonna stop eating chicken."

Kenny Smith then made a follow-up question to Barkley:

"What if they're wrapped up in broccoli?"

"The Round Mound of Rebound" would still choose a bucket of chicken over the two women even if they were covered in vegetables.

"Nope," Barkley said. "If I walk in and Kim and Halle were wrapped in cauliflower and broccolini, and there's a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken? Can't get to the Colonel (Sanders) fast enough."

The Hall of Fame forward loves to eat, and his weight issues were well-documented during his playing days. However, that didn't stop him from becoming one of the greatest players in NBA history. In addition to Kentuck Fried Chicken, Barkley also loves Krispy Kreme Donuts.

Here's a clip of Shaquille O'Neal surprising the crew with a lot of donuts after Charles Barkley had pushed his famous "guarantee" button in last season's playoffs.

Charles Barkley was selected fifth overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1984 NBA draft. However, Barkley didn't want to play for the Sixers and tried to avoid getting drafted by them.

In an interview with Graham Bensinger in 2016, Barkley revealed that he went on a two-day binge eating spree before the draft. He weighed a whopping 302 pounds on draft night, but that didn't deter the Sixers from selecting him.

"I wanted to make sure that the Sixers don't draft me," Barkley said. "So we went on a two-day eating binge. We got up the first morning, I had like six pancakes, bacon, washed it down with a vanilla shake. Then we went to lunch. I think I had like 4-5 pieces of Kentucky Fried Chicken, some mashed potatoes, some coleslaw."

He continued:

"Then we went to dinner at some place, I had like a T-bone steak, a baked potato. And then the next day did the exact same thing. So we fly to Philly, I get on a scale. I'm like 302 and Harold Katz (ex-Sixers owner) is cursing me."
