When Shaquille O'Neal took a dump in LA Lakers rookie's shoes for forgetting to bring donuts, revealed by Tyronn Lue: "His foot slides right in"
Shaquille O'Neal is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. However, he wasn't always the best teammate. Tyronn Lue has an interesting story regarding a prank by Shaq, which may have gone too far.
In the late 90s, the 7-foot-1 center was the dominant center in the NBA. He joined the LA Lakers in 1996 and turned the team into a dynasty. Unfortunately for Shaq, some of the things he did ruined his relationship with teammates.
This article reveals a prank Shaq played on a Lakers rookie in the 1998-99 season. Rookie hazing has always been a thing, but O'Neal may have taken it too far.
Shaquille O'Neal relieved himself in Devean George's shoes
With the 23rd pick in the 1999 NBA draft, the Lakers selected Devean George. The 6-foot-8 forward spent the majority of his career with the team, but his rookie season wasn't impressive.
George made his debut in the 1999-00 season. While he struggled to get minutes, Shaquille O'Neal dominated the league and led in scoring, which earned him the MVP award.
George was a rookie and it's not surprising that he was hazed by some of his teammates. According to a story by Tyronn Lue, who played his sophomore season when George was drafted, Shaq went too far with rookie hazing.

The rookie had several responsibilities towards veteran players, and one of them was buying donuts for Shaq. Unfortunately for him, he didn't do it once. This did not sit well with O'Neal and he decided to relieve himself in George's shoes.
"Shaq goes in the bathroom, takes his [Devean's] shoe in there. He sh*ts in his shoe. So Devean George comes in and gets ready for the game, puts his shoe on, Lue said.
"So Devean George comes in and gets ready for the game, puts his shoe on, I mean, his foot slides right in," Lue added.
Fortunately for the organization, the Lakers won the championship that season, which eventually turned into a three-peat. Both Shaquille O'Neal and Devean George became champions, which may have helped their friendship.
