When Trinity Rodman set aside differences with dad Dennis Rodman after surprise sideline embrace during her game: "We don’t see eye to eye"
Dennis Rodman's daughter, Trinity Rodman has made quite a name for herself after walking a different path than her father. Trinity is a professional soccer player for the Washington Spirits in the National Women's Soccer League.
However, it is public knowledge that the relationship between Rodman and his daughter is not great.
The Washington Spirits star once revealed that she did not see eye to eye with her father. Trinity made an Instagram post on Nov. 9, 2021, featuring a picture of her hugging her father who was in attendance to see his daughter play. Trinity accompanied her thoughts in the caption of her post.
"Yes Dennis Rodman showed up to an Nwsl game, but also my dad, after YEARS surprised me at a big game in my career, I was shocked, overwhelmed, happy, sad, everything," Trinity captioned.
"My dad doesn’t play a big role in my life at all and most people don’t know that, we don’t see eye to eye on many things."
The NWSL star also mentioned that she often goes months and years without any communication from her father and that it had been hard for them to be in the spotlight. She ended her message by appreciating the bond she has with her father.
"We don’t have the best relationship, but at the end of the day he’s human I’m human… he’s my dad, and I’m his little girl that will never change."
Dennis Rodman has struggled with being a model parent. During his Hall of Fame acceptance speech, the Chicago Bulls legend had expressed his regret at not being a good father to his children.
"I have one regret: I wish I was a better father," Rodman said.
However, Trinity has tried to bury the past and attempt a new beginning with her father. The NWSL star was born to Rodman and his ex-wife Michelle Moyer. She has a sibling, a brother named D.J. Rodman.
