When will NBA All-Star reserves be announced?
There are only a few days left until this year's Eastern and Western Conference NBA All-Star reserves are announced. Reserves are set to be announced on Feb. 2, just one week after the starters were announced on Jan. 26. The picks will be revealed on TNT at 7 PM ET.
How are NBA All-Star reserves selected?
NBA All-Star starters were selected through a combination of fan voting (50%), player voting (25%) and media voting (25%). However, the voting process to determine the All-Star reserves is much simpler. Players will be selected solely based on votes from the NBA’s 30 coaches.
Each coach will vote for two guards, three frontcourt players and two players in any position (wildcards) from each conference. In the event of injuries, NBA commissioner Adam Silver will then select replacements from any player in the same conference as the injured player. This will determine the full pool of All-Star reserves.
The 2023 NBA All-Star Game reserves will be revealed by @NBAonTNT on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. ET.

When is the NBA All-Star Draft?
The NBA All-Star Draft, which debuted in 2018, has always taken place before the All-Star Weekend. However, this year marks the first year that the draft will take place right before the tip-off of the All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 19. The draft will start at 7:30 PM ET and will air on TNT.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James, who were selected as East and West team captains, will draft the two teams. Antetokounmpo and James will first take turns selecting from the pool of All-Star starters (8 players) followed by the pool of reserves (14 players). This will determine the full 12-man rosters for each team.
What time does the NBA All-Star Game start?
Following the All-Star Draft, the 72nd annual NBA All-Star Game will tip-off at 8 PM ET on Feb. 19 on TNT. The game will take place at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
