Who is the favorite for March Madness?

This is the first NCAA Tournament in history where none of the remaining teams are a 1-3 seed. No. 4 seed UConn is the highest remaining seed, while Miami and San Diego State each enter as No. 5 seeds.

Florida Atlantic is the biggest surprise based on seeding as they won the South region after entering as a No. 9 seed.

UConn (29-8) is the biggest remaining favorite in the tournament at minus-125 odds. There have been stretches of the season where the Huskies have looked like the best team in college basketball, and they are coming off a convincing 82-54 victory over Gonzaga in the Sweet 16.

San Diego State (31-6) is the next biggest favorite at roughly +400 odds, with Miami (29-7) behind the Aztecs at around +475. Florida Atlantic (35-3) is at about +600 odds, despite having the most wins in college basketball this season.

There has been a lack of excitement surrounding the tournament's conclusion, largely due to the lack of big-name programs remaining. However, the exciting stories and notable upsets are part of what makes March Madness so special, and this is a fitting ending to a wild tournament. There is plenty to like about each of these teams, and they will need a focused effort this weekend.
