BGIS 2024 Semifinals Week 1: Dates, qualified teams so far, and more
The Semifinals Week 1 of the BGIS 2024 will take place from June 6 to 9. A total of 32 teams will participate in this phase, with the top eight advancing to the Grand Finals. The bottom 24 teams will get another chance to reach the finals through the Semifinals Week 2. Each team will try to perform to their best abilities in Week 1 for a chance to make it to the Grand Finals.
The top 16 teams from the fourth round have been selected for the BGIS Semifinals Week 1. The remaining 16 teams will be chosen from the Wildcard stage which is set to be played from May 30 to June 2. Many experienced teams such as Soul, GodLike, and Revenant will compete to ensure their spots in the Semifinals.

In the Semifinals, 32 teams will be seeded into four groups of eight teams each. These groups will play against each other in a round-robin format and the teams will play 12 matches each. The first to eighth-ranked teams from the overall points table will register their spots in the Grand Finals, while the rest will move to the Semifinals Week 2.
In BGIS Round 4, Prime Esports dominated their group and emerged as the star performers. The inexperienced squad's performance was impressive and they will be seeking similar results in the Semifinals. Zero Recoil, 8Bit, and Team Limra were in the same group and qualified for the next stage.
FS Esports had a strong outing in their group of the fourth round. Chemin Esports were also consistent throughout their six games and ranked second there. Inspiration and Magnet, with rising lineups, finished in the top four of this group.
Inferno Squad continued their impressive run in the fourth round and claimed first rank in their group. Team Insane was second there, while popular club Team XSpark were ranked third. Their player, NinjaJod, was outstanding throughout his six matches. Hyderabad Hydras finished in fourth place.
Global Esports, led by BGMI pro, MAVI, demonstrated their signature gameplay and took the first position in their group of BGIS Round 4. Reckoning Esports also followed an aggressive approach and came second. Team Tamilas and Vasista remained in the top four of the group.
