BGIS 2024 Semifinals Week 2 Day 1: Overall standings, highlights, and more
Entity Gaming topped the overall rankings of Day 1 of the BGIS 2024 Semifinals Week 1. The Saumraj-led lineup showed a strong comeback and posted 46 points on the board without a single Chicken Dinner. Galaxy and Inferno Squad came in second and third ranks with 40 and 38 points, respectively. Rivalry and Limra scoreboard 37 points each in their respective four matches.
Team 8Bit and Carnival Gamig were eighth and tenth with 31 and 25 points, respectively. MOGO Esports, led by Destro, had a mediocre day, collecting only 15 points. GodLike Esports had a disastrous performance as the team ranked 21st with only six points in four matches.
Day 1 results of BGIS Semifinals Week 2
Match 1 - Group A and B
Team Insane got off to a spectacular start, securing an 18-point Chicken Dinner in the first game. Inferno Squad also did their job perfectly and grabbed 16 points, including 10 eliminations. LOC, Rivalry, and Entity got 11, nine, and eight points, respectively. Carnival and GodLike clinched three points each.
Match 2 - Group A and C
Team Limra acquired a strong 25-point Chicken Dinner in the second match of BGIS Semifinals Week 2. Entity and MOGO picked up 10 points each. Venom and Inferno Squad claimed nine and six points, respectively.
Match 3 - Group B and C
Team 8Bit ensured an excellent 16-point victory to their hand. Galaxy Esports took an aggressive approach and garnered 19 points. Hyderabad Hydras also seemed in good form, accumulating 12 points. GodLike yet again failed and took only three points.
Match 4 - Group A and C
Hyderabad Hydras had another fantastic game, achieving their first Chicken Dinner of the BGIS Semifinals Week 2 with 18 points. Entity Gaming and Inferno Squad earned 14 points each. MOGO and Prime could not score a single point to their names.
Match 5 - Group A and B
Rivalry Esports pulled off a 16-point triumphant in the fifth encounter. Entity continued their consistency and achieved 14 crucial points. Voltx, Team Insane, and Carnival Gaming obtained 10 points each. GodLike again faced failure and was eliminated by Carnival Gaming without any points.
Match 6 - Group B and C
Magnet Esports ended the first day with a 16-point Chicken Dinner. Galaxy, Carnival, and Team 8Bit also had a good match, claiming 15, 12, and 10 points, respectively. Venom and Reckoning clinched nine points each. GodLike, 7Shore, and NIY couldn't score any points in their last game of the BGIS Semifinals Week 2 Day 1.
