BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) 2024: Prize pool distribution revealed 

Nodwin Gaming has revealed the prize pool distribution of the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3. This third-party tournament has a total prize money of ₹1 crore and is being hosted in Delhi. The winning club will go home with a cash prize of ₹55 lakh, while the second-ranked team will walk away with ₹15 lakhs in prize money.

The Playoffs are currently underway, where 16 teams are contesting against each other for 12 spots in the Masters Finals. The initial two stages, Opening Week and League Stage, have already been completed. Reckoning, Global Esports, CarpeDiem, and Gods Reign have captured their spot in the Finale through the League Stage.

Out of the total prize pool of ₹1 crore, ₹99 lakh will be distributed among 20 teams based on their rankings in the Masters Series. While the remaining ₹1 lakh will be awarded to the most valuable player in the tournament.

  1. First Place - ₹55 lakh
  2. Second Place - ₹15 lakh
  3. Third Place - ₹7.5 lakh
  4. Fourth Place - ₹3.5 lakh
  5. Fifth Place - ₹2.5 lakh
  6. Sixth Place - ₹2 lakh
  7. Seventh Place - ₹1.75 lakh
  8. Eighth Place - ₹1.75 lakh
  9. Ninth Place - ₹1.5 lakh
  10. 10th Place - ₹1.5 lakh
  11. 11th Place - ₹1.25 lakh
  12. 12th Place - ₹1.25 lakh
  13. 13th Place - ₹1 lakh
  14. 14th Place - ₹1 lakh
  15. 15th Place - ₹75,000
  16. 16th Place - ₹75,000
  17. 17th Place - ₹25,000
  18. 18th Place - ₹25,000
  19. 19th Place - ₹25,000
  20. 20th Place - ₹25,000

The bottom four teams of the Opening Week, who were eliminated from the BGMS S3, didn't get a share of the prize money. The bottom four teams of the ongoing Playoffs Stage, who will be knocked out of the event, will receive ₹25,000 each.

The total prize pool of the BGMS Season 1 was around ₹1.52 crore, out of which the winner, Global Esports, earned approximately ₹26 lakh. GodLike and Orangutan secured ₹15 lakhs and ₹10.5 lakhs, respectively. The inaugural edition had many additional awards, including MVP, Hunger Cure, Eliminator, and Damager.

The BGMS Season 2 had a total prize money of ₹2.1 crore. Gladiator Esports emerged as champions, winning a massive ₹1 crore cash prize. Orangutan and Velocity Gaming achieved second and third positions, earning ₹35 lakhs and ₹12.5 lakhs, respectively.

The Grand Finale of the BGMS Season 3 will be hosted from August 9 to 11, where the top 16 teams will battle it out for the prestigious title and a share of the total prize money.
