BGMI pro Omega joins WSB Gaming ahead of BMPS 2024
BGMI star Sahil “Omega” Jakhar has joined WSB Gaming as the team's captain ahead of the Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) 2024, which is set to start on August 20, 2024. Team Soul won the inaugural edition of the BMPS under his leadership in 2022. With his new team, he will endeavor to win it yet again.
Omega left Carnival Gaming in August 2024. In the recently concluded BGMS Season 3, Hector was made the captain of the lineup, a surprise move by the club. Omega didn’t play a single match in that event and was also not available at the venue in Delhi.

Omega was part of many big firms like 8Bit, Chemin, Team Soul, and Carnival Gaming. He is known as one of the best captains in the BGMI scene and has exhibited his leadership skills in many top-tier tournaments. He played with his previous lineup for more than two years.
In January 2024, Carnival Gaming signed the squad that was associated with Team Soul for nearly two years. Under the leadership of Omega, the roster did well in a few events like ESL Snapdragon Pro Series and Lidoma Masters Showdown. However, they faced challenges in some major tournaments like BGIS and iQOO Pro Series.
WSB Gaming recently participated in the BGMS Season 3, where the team came 14th in the Grand Finals. Drigger left the lineup after playing only one month for the club. He and Sikarijod were signed together on July 9, 2024.
WSB Gaming struggled in the League and Grand Finals of the BGMS. However, the team had shown their dominance in the Playoffs and was the top performer in this phase. Following their miserable run, the organization added Omega to achieve better results in the BMPS 2024.
In March 2024, WSB Gaming emerged victorious in the Skyesports Champions Series. The team also finished second in the Lidoma Masters Showdown in the same month. One of their key players Raiden then left the team in June.
Since debuting in BGMI Esports last year, WSB Gaming has performed well in many official tournaments. The BMPS 2024 is a major official event with a massive prize money of ₹2 crore. The club will endeavor to register its victory in the tournament.
