BGMI pro Sarang emerges as standout player of BGMS 2024 Playoffs Day 1
Sarangajyoti "Sarang" Deka from Team XSpark emerged as the top individual performer on Day 1 of the BGMI Master Series (BGMS) Season 3 Playoffs, with 10 finishes to his name. The Battlegrounds Mobile India pro helped his team claim the top position on the overall leaderboard after four matches.
Team XSpark finished the day with 56 points. WSB Gaming ranked second with 46 points. Third-placed Raven, fourth-placed Carnival, and fifth-placed Team Tamilas bagged 40, 36, and 34 points, respectively.
Sarang's performance on Day 1 of BGMS Playoffs
In the opening battle on Day 1 of the BGMS Season 3 Playoffs, Sarang clinched two frags, while Ninjajod and Shadow claimed three and one, respectively.
Team XSpark took an aggressive approach and picked up six eliminations in the first zone. The squad grabbed 13 points from the match. WSB Gaming was the winner with 21 points.
In the second match, Sarang secured only one kill. His teammates, NinjaJod and Spraygod, bagged three and one eliminations, respectively.
Team XSpark earned 11 points, while MOGO Esports emerged victorious with 14 points. Team Tamilas and WSB scored 17 and 16 points, respectively.
In the third match, Sarang racked up two kills. SprayGod bagged four eliminations, while Shadow managed one.
Team XSpark collected 11 points from this encounter. Carnival Gaming came out victorious with 20 points.
In the fourth match, Team XSpark registered a 21-point victory. Sarang was phenomenal in this encounter, bagging five eliminations. SprayGod was also great, earning four kills.
Thanks to its comeback on Day 1 of the BGMS Season 3 Playoffs, Team XSpark will easily make it to the Grand Finals. In June 2024, the organization lifted the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) trophy. The team's main target will be to win a second major title this year.
The remaining four matches of the BGMI Master Series Playoffs are scheduled for August 7, 2024.
