BGMI star Spower joins MOGO Esports ahead of BMPS 2024

After several rumors over the past few days, Spower has officially joined MOGO Esports ahead of the BMPS 2024. The BGMI pro has competed for four organizations in the past year. He was only recently a part of Carnival Gaming in the BGMS Season 3, where his team registered fourth place after magnificent performances. Interestingly, he played for just one month for his former club.

MOGO Esports has been invited to the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2024, set to start on August 20. In total, 128 invited clubs will fight against each other in this one-month-long competition for an enormous prize pool of ₹2 crore.

Here is the five-man squad of the team:

  1. Destro (Ammar Khan)
  2. DeltaPG (Parth Garg)
  3. Justin (Justin Nadar)
  4. Robin (Robin Singh Shekhawat)
  5. Spower (Rudra B)

MOGO Esports recently bid farewell to Shogun right after the completion of the BGMS Season 3. The club had finished in the 11th spot in this grand event, which was played offline in Delhi. The team didn't demonstrate the results as expected. It is worth noting that Team Soul won that event.

In May 2024, MOGO Esports acquired the ex-lineup of Gods Reign. In the past three days, the Destro-led roster has played two major BGMI tournaments, including the BGIS and BGMS. The squad again had a below-average run in the BGIS, securing 14th place.

Following their mediocre results, MOGO Esports has added Spower, one of the most skilled young players. The 18-year-old star won many tournaments in 2023 while playing for Blind Esports. His team was also the crowned champions of the previous edition of the BMPS. He had also played for a few months for GodLike last year.

Earlier this year, Team Soul recruited the former Blind Esports' squad in January, including Spower. He had a decent journey with this club as he achieved second rank in both the Snapdragon Pro Series and iQOO Pro Series in February. His team registered the fourth position in the BGIS 2024.

Despite achieving great success during his six-month journey with the team, Spower parted ways with Team Soul in July and joined Carnival Gaming. He has now joined MOGO Esports and will look to win his second BMPS title under the new banner.

Destro is renowned as one of the greatest captains in the BGMI scene as he has secured multiple titles. However, his team has not played well in 2024 so far. He will also be aiming for his much-needed comeback in the upcoming Pro Series.
