BGMI Thug Invitational 2024 Semifinals: Qualified teams, dates, and how to watch

The Group Stage of the BGMI Thug Invitational 2024 came to an end on October 18. While 32 teams have qualified for the Semifinals, another 32 have been eliminated from the tournament. The qualified teams will now play across six days for 16 spots in the Grand Finals.

The Semifinals will start on October 19 and will run until October 24. The 32 participants will be seeded into four groups of eight teams each. The 16 best-performing teams will advance to the Grand Finals.

This two-week-long event has a total prize pool of ₹8 lakh. The winning team will receive ₹3 lakh.

How to watch

The Semifinals of the BGMI Thug Invitational 2024 will be broadcast live on the 8Bit Thug’s YouTube channel from 12:30 pm IST onwards.


Group Stage overview

The 64 participating teams in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Thug Invitational 2024 were divided into four groups for the Group Stage. The top eight teams from each group have advanced to the Semifinals.

MOGO Esports topped Group A, with Team VST and Team IQOO Soul, who recently signed BGMI star Skipz, also performing well.

Sarkar Gaming topped the Group B standings. Phoenix and Team Tamilas finished second and third, respectively. Team XSpark was also impressive.

Numen Gaming, who recently secured the runner-up spot in the BMPS 2024, stood out in Group C. Carnival Gaming, Genxfm, and Team Jelly also had strong performances.

Reckoning Esports and Team 8Bit were the top two performers in Group D. Team Z and Versatile also had decent runs in the previous stage.
