BGMS Season 3 Playoffs: All 16 teams, dates, and format revealed
The Playoffs of the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3 is set to happen on August 6 and August 7, 2024. Teams placed between fifth and 20th in the League Stage will fight it out in this two-day battle. The top 12 performing clubs from the Playoffs will be selected for the Grand Finals. A total of eight matches will be conducted in this phase of the Masters Series.
The top four teams of the BGMS League Stage have already booked their places in the Grand Finals. Reckoning, Global, CarpeDiem, and Gods Reign were the best four performers in the League who have reached the mega Finals, slated to be held from August 9 to August 11, 2024.

The Bounty System and Impact Player rules will not be used in the Playoffs. Only the Powerplay rule will be applied during this stage. All three rules were part of the League Stage of the ongoing Masters Series.
Initially, Nodwin Gaming had announced that only six matches would be played in the Playoffs, but the organizer has now increased the number of matches to eight. On top of this, the Grand Finals will now feature 12 matches instead of nine.
Team Tamilas missed out on a spot in the BGMS Finals by a small margin of 10 points. The squad, led by MrIGL, will look to perform well in the Playoffs. Saumraj-led Entity Gaming finished sixth in the League Stage. The club recently added two new members, Aquanox and Raiden, to their squad.
On the other hand, Raven Esports has struggled slightly in the last few days, falling to seventh rank in the League. The lineup had impressed many with their gameplay and abilities. Revenant registered five Chicken Dinners but failed to finish in the top four. Vasista Esports, who were table toppers during the initial few days, slumped to ninth in the table.
Team Soul, Orangutan, and GodLike have had a mediocre run in the BGMS League Stage. These teams will now concentrate on delivering better results in the Playoffs and reaching the Finale. Some renowned squads like Team XSpark, MOGO, and 8Bit stumbled in the League stage and finished in the bottom five.
