BGMS Season 3 Playoffs Day 1: Teams, map schedule, and how to watch 

Day 1 of the BGMS Season 3 Playoffs will begin at 6:30 pm IST on August 6, 2024. In this stage, the fifth- to 20th-ranked teams from the League Stage will battle for 12 spots in the finale. These teams will play eight matches over two days. Reckoning, Global Esports, CarpeDiem, and Gods Reign have already earned their seats in the Grand Finals through the League Stage.

The playoffs will feature many experienced teams like Entity, Carnival, Soul, GodLike, and others. Only the Powerplay rule will be implemented at this stage; Impact Player and Bounty System will not be used.

Here are the 16 participating teams on Day 1 of the BGMS Season 3 Playoffs:

Day 1 map schedule and how to watch

The first match of the day will be played on the Erangel map. The second encounter is scheduled for the Sanhok map, while the third will take place on Miramar. The fourth and last clash of the day will also be played on Erangel.

Here is the map rotation for Day 1:

  • Match 1 - Erangel
  • Match 2 - Sanhok
  • Match 3 - Miramar
  • Match 4 - Erangel

These matches will be broadcast live on the following platforms:

  • YouTube - Star Sports and Nodwin Gaming
  • Television - Star Sports 2 and Star Sports First

Team Tamilas, Entity, and Raven had a decent run in the BGMS League Stage. However, they fell short by a few points and couldn't finish in the top four of the overall rankings.

Revenant Esports, led by Sensei, made an excellent comeback and grabbed five Chicken Dinners, the most by any team in this phase. The team will now try to perform consistently in the playoffs and qualify for the finale.

Vasista Esports were in great form at the start of the League Stage but lost their momentum and fell to ninth place.

Team Soul, Carnival, Team GodLike, and Orangutan had average runs in the BGMS League Stage. They will be looking for a great start to the playoffs.

Experienced teams like Team XSpark, MOGO, 8Bit had torrid runs in the League Stage, finishing in the bottom five. They will now hope to bounce back in the playoffs.
