Blind Esports bids farewell to its BGMI lineup after facing failure in BGIS 2024

Blind Esports parted ways with its BGMI roster after its disappointing run in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024. The seasoned lineup was signed by the club earlier this year in January and played around only six months under the banner. The Adi-led team is known as one of the strongest BGMI teams; unfortunately, their results in the last six months have not been that impressive.

After conquering the BMPS Season 2 in December 2022, Blind Esports had said goodbye to its lineup which was later signed by Team Soul. The organization then acquired the Aadi-led squad, which was third in the BMPS under the banner of Team Insane.

The team was 14th in the Grind Event, taking them straight to the fourth round of BGIS 2024. However, the lineup couldn't maintain their ideal performance in Round 4 as they ranked eighth in their group. The side was relegated to the Wildcard Stage but yet again couldn’t produce the required results and faltered poorly there. The team came 31st in the overall standings in this phase and was eliminated from the tournament.

Blind Esports didn't perform well in its matches played during both the aforementioned stages of BGIS 2024. The experienced lineup had entered the event on a positive note but couldn't live up to fans' expectations.

After signing its new roster, Blind Esports secured sixth place in the iQOO Pro Series 2024. The club ranked 10th in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series, a major BGMI event. The lineup then faltered completely in the Upthrust Esports India Rising.

Blind Esports exhibited a fantastic comeback in the Skyesports Champions Series 2024 and earned third position in this notable third-party tournament. The Aadi-led crew was impressive in the Grand Finals of the event. However, the lineup then failed to maintain its consistency in Lidoma Masters Showdown and the Skyesports Mobile Open, finishing 26th and 14th respectively.

Blind Esports also faced challenges in the Champions Gala Season 1, OneGame Pro Championship, and Clash of Warriors events. The lineup failed to gain its signature form in the last few months.

The squad had quite a decent run under the banner of Team Insane as they had achieved a podium in many notable tournaments. Unfortunately, the roster couldn’t deliver the performance they wanted while playing for Blind Esports.
