BMPS 2024 Round 2 Day 1: Overall standings and highlights

Day 1 of the BMPS 2024 Round 2 was played on September 7, 2024, where Groups 1 and 2 played three matches each. These two groups will now participate in their three remaining games of this stage on September 8, 2024. A total of 64 teams, divided into four groups, will play six matches each in the second round. The top 48 teams from the overall points table will move to the next round.

GodLike Esports performed brilliantly on Day 1 of the BMPS Round 2 and claimed the prime position in the overall leaderboard with 39 points and one Chicken Dinner. Angry Swain, despite being an inexperienced lineup, registered second place and were followed by Honoured Rivalz claiming the third spot, both with 31 points to their name.

Carnival Gaming, led by Hector, posted 30 points at an average of 10. Genxfm and Numen Gaming collected 28 points each. THW and WSB Gaming also made a good start to the second round, scoring 27 and 23 points respectively.

CarpeDiem, led by BGMI star Pukar, ensured 20 points in their initial three matches of the BMPS Round 2. Meanwhile, Team Insane had a slow start as the club accumulated only 13 points. Fan favorite Team Soul also had a below-average run on Day 1, scoring only 10 points.

Team Captain, who had a decent run in the BMPS Round 1, grabbed seven points and ranked 28th in the table. Revenant Esports, led by Sensei, had a disappointing day with the squad scoring only six points. Inferno Squad, LOC, and Team Drangons have collected five, four, and three points respectively.
