BMPS 2024 Round 2: Overall standings, highlights, and qualified teams for Round 3
Round 2 of BMPS 2024 concluded on September 10 with the top 48 teams qualifying for the next stage. A total of 64 squads played six matches apiece in this stage. The bottom 15 squads from the overall rankings have been eliminated from the flagship BGMI tournament. Readers should note that Angry Swan was disqualified for violating the competitive rules of the event.
GodLike Esports emerged as the top performer of Round 2. The Punk-led lineup amassed 74 points, along with two Chicken Dinners and 49 eliminations. Orangutan Gaming finished a distant second with 57 points and one Chicken Dinner. Further down, Carnival Gaming and Team XSpark earned 56 and 54 points respectively.

Overall standings of Round 2
Popular squads Team Soul and Global Esports enjoyed a decent run in Round 2, scoring 49 points each in six matches. THW, TWOB, and CarpeDiem accrued 48 each. Team Versatile suffered a poor start but galvanized itself in the last three matches to finish the 14th spot with 44 points.
Gujarat Tigers, led by ClutchGod, stood 17th with 43 points. Reckoning Esports also looked great and managed 39 points. 4Merical Esports had a disappointing beginning to Round 2 of BMPS 2024 but somehow found its momentum in the last three games and finished 33rd with 34 points.
Medal Esports, led by Paradox, bounced back in its last match and reached the top 48 with 31 points. Amassing 24 points apiece, Rivals Ape X and Blind Esports also qualified for the next round.
Experienced team Vasista Esports failed to qualify for BMPS Round 3. The squad sat 49th with 23 points. Error, Aerobotz, Revenant, and K9 were also unable to progress to the next stage. Team INS finished bottom with a meager seven points in six matches.
