Carnival Gaming signs Spower ahead of BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3
On July 12, 2024, Carnival Gaming signed former Team Soul player Spower ahead of the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3. His inclusion will definitely give a huge boost to the team, as he is considered one of the most talented players in Battlegrounds Mobile India's competitive scene currently. BGMS Season 3 is set to start on July 19, 2024.
Earlier today, July 12, Team Soul officially announced Spower's exit from the group. On the same day, Carnival Gaming made a post on social media, revealing he's the squad's latest recruit. The third edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) has already been announced and will begin in August.
BGMI pro Spower joins Carnival Gaming
After rumors of his addition to Carnival Gaming were circulating on social media, the group came forth and officially announced that Spower was its newest member. The group, on Instagram, said this:
"Welcome to the team. We're excited to have you join us with your fearless spirit and determination."
In his latest livestream, Spower said that he left Team Soul after discussing his departure with the other members. However, he did not mention a specific reason for his exit.
Carnival Gaming was founded in January 2024 and entered BGMI esports by signing Team Soul's former roster later that same month. The Omega-led team recently faced difficulties in the BGIS 2024 and came 15th on the overall scoreboard. The lineup had performed admirably in a few of that event's initial stages but failed in the Grand Finals.
Carnival player, Akshat, has already announced his short break from the competitive scene and will not be seen participating in the BGMS Season 3. He was in this group's playing four in the BGIS 2024. He is an experienced athlete and has played in many big tournaments. It will be interesting to see how Carnival Gaming performs in the upcoming event with his absence and Spavor's inclusion.
Since its entry into the BGMI scene, the organization has won a few tournaments, including Bingo Nachos Cup, Rising Star Showdown S3, and Lidoma Masters Showdown. The club captured the fourth rank in 2024's ESL Snapdragon Pro Series, a major event. However, the roster has struggled in many notable tournaments over the last few months.
Carnival Gaming has not won any major title in the last six months (as of July 2024). As such, the squad's goal will be to lift the BGMS Season 3 trophy. The team has skilled players such as Goblin, Spower, Omega, hector, and Neyoo, who will participate in the event.
