Entity Gaming eliminated from Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024

Entity Gaming faced elimination from the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGIS) 2024 despite having a phenomenal start to Semifinals Week 2. The Saumraj-led experienced lineup was the best performer after Day 1 of this stage but unfortunately couldn’t produce a consistent performance in the next three days. The club fell to 14th position in the overall standings after 16 matches.

Semifinals Week 2, played from June 13 to June 16, 2024, had a total of eight spots for the BGIS Grand Finals, with eight teams already making it to the Finals from Semifinals Week 1. The ultimate stage of the India Series 2024 will commence on June 28, 2024, over three days.

The Saumraj-led squad demonstrated a powerful opening to Semifinals Week 2 after collecting 46 points in their four matches on Day 1. Unfortunately, the club witnessed a decline in their performance on Day 2 and slumped to fourth rank in the overall rankings with 64 points.

On the third and penultimate day, Entity faced tough challenges and performed terribly in their four games. They added only six points to their account and fell to 11th place with 70 points in the overall rankings after 12 matches.

On the final day, the crew tried their best but only managed 21 points in their last four encounters. After the end of their 16 matches, the team posted 91 points on the overall board. They picked up 62 eliminations in the process but did not win a single Chicken Dinner. The lineup was the only team in the top 17 who could not win any matches in Semifinals Week 2.

Carnival Gaming acquired the first rank in this stage and collected 153 points, including 106 eliminations. Despite having a mediocre start, they bounced back and jumped to the dominant spot. MOGO Esports also had a disappointing beginning but managed to strengthen their position in the overall table and finished second.

Limra Esports ranked third in the BGIS Semifinals Week 2 and mesmerized everyone with their gameplay. Team 8Bit, a newly formed squad, achieved fifth place. Team Insane, Reckoning, and Inferno Squad were also impressive and ended up in the top eight.

Apart from Entity Gaming, popular club GodLike Esports also suffered a setback and was knocked out of the BGIS 2024. Hyderabad Hydras, THW, Livecraft were among the bottom 15 who couldn't qualify for the next stage.
