Fan favorite Team Soul ranks fifth as Day 3 of BGIS 2024 Semifinals Week 1 ends

Team Soul finished the third day of the BGIS 2024 Semifinals Week 1 in fifth with 67 points, 30 kills, and one Chicken Dinner. The Manya-led squad suffered a disappointing start but delivered improved results on Day 2. However, the team yet again struggled a bit on Day 3 but maintained its position in the top eight.

Team Soul won a mesmerizing Chicken Dinner on Sanhok, helping it find some form. That said, the main objective will be to deliver consistent performances in the remaining three matches on June 9.

Each team has played nine out of 12 matches in the Semifinals Week 1. 31 clubs are going to compete for the eight seats in the Grand Finals. The bottom 23 teams from the overall scoreboard will yet again fight in the Semifinals Week 2 for the remaining eight spots.

Team XSpark retained its top-notch performances on the third day and remained in prime spot with 88.5 points and 59 eliminations. The team will go into the remaining matches having secured a spot in the BGIS 2024 Finale. Global Esports has also enjoyed a strong run and finished second with 73 points.

MOGO Esports, consisting of former Gods Reign players, secured third place with 71 points, followed by Vasista and Team Soul. FS Esports stood sixth in the chart with 66 points and two Chicken Dinners. Team 8Bit looked great on Day 3 and finished ninth with 61.5 points.

Entity Gaming and GodLike Esports were inconsistent in their nine matches and finished 11th and 12th with 59.5 and 58.5 points respectively. Both squads will aim to do better in their remaining encounters of the BGIS Semifinals Week 1. Reckoning Gaming, who delivered a top-tier performance in the previous phases, stumbled a bit and came 14th with 57.5 points after Day 3.

Team Insane ranked 21st with 46 points and a Chicken Dinner. Carnival Gaming, a well-known lineup led by Omega, had a poor run in the first three days of the BGIS Semifinals Week 1. The team finished 26th, amassing 32.5 points in nine games. Languishing near the bottom, Livecraft and Galaxy were 29th and 30th with 31 and 29.5 points respectively.
