Ghatak joins Revenant XSpark as director of esports and community
Revenant XSpark signed former PUBG Mobile/BGMI player Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare as director of esports and community. The newly formed organization arranged a meet-and-greet event in Mumbai on November 12, 2024. The club announced the signing of Ghatak on the same day, who was also present at the event. Popular gaming influencer Scoutop is the brand ambassador of the firm.
Recently, two renowned organizations, Team XSpark and Revenant joined forces to create a new club, named Revenant XSpark. The Shadow-led BGMI squad, who was playing for Team XSpark, now competes under the banner of this firm. The roster has achieved two major trophies in 2024 and also announced its Pokemon UNITE roster.
Revenant XSpark signs Ghatak as director esports and community
On November 12, 2024, the company officially announced the addition of Ghatak as the director of esports and community. The club wrote on its social media pages:
"He's back with a bang. Introducing the Director of Esports & Community of Revenant Spark - Ghatak"
Many fans were present in the meet-and-greet event in Mumbai on Tuesday, along with the BGMI roster and content creators. After winning the BMPS 2024, Scout had promised to host a special meet-and-greet event for fans.
He is a well-known figure in the Indian gaming community who has been in the esports scene for more than six years. He will now play a significant role in helping the organization achieve its goals.
Ghatak entered the esports scene in 2019 as a PUBG Mobile athlete. He started his journey with Team ORB and has played for renowned organizations Entity Gaming and TSM. He was the In-Game Leader (IGL) in his team and has also won may events, including PMCO 2019 Fall Split South Asia.
Ghatak and his teammates joined GodLike Esports in late 2021. He then became the coach of the team and was a member of the club for approximately two years, leaving GodLike in late 2023. He founded a new firm called Trident Gaming, which hosts BGMI events and scrims. Many underdog and experienced teams take part in those events.
Revenant XSpark has arguably the best BGMI roster, which features Shadow, Joker, Sarang and SprayGod. Shadow is the captain of the squad and has led the team to win two prestigious titles this year, including the BMPS and BGIS 2024. The roster is all set to participate in the upcoming Skyesports Championship and Red Bull M.E.O.
