Gods Reign acquires Venom Gaming ahead of BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3
Gods Reign officially announced the acquisition of Venom Gaming's former roster. The organization is all set to compete in the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3 commencing on July 19. The lineup has recently delivered promising performances in the BGIS 2024 and earned fifth rank there. Under the new banner, they will now strive to obtain a respectable rank in the upper battle.
Earlier this year, Gods Reign had signed ex-Gladiators Esports players before parting ways with them just five months later. With the new signings, the organization will now aim to achieve major trophies in the second half of 2024.
Gods Reign’s BGMI lineup

These players have been playing together a few times. They attracted everyone’s attention in late 2023 after winning the Red Bull M.E.O. Season 6 India under the banner of Celsius Esports. They leapfrogged numerous experienced squads in the competition to rank first.
These players then played under the name of Chemin Esports in early 2024. The lineup finished sixth in the Upthrust Patriot Cup and second in the OnePlus Dominate Arena January Edition. They came 10th in the Rising Star Showdown Season 3.
These players also produced top-notch performances in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series 2024 and claimed the third spot in this major event. However, after the event, the squad struggled in a few tournaments but bounced back in the recently concluded BGIS.
Gods Reign had a good run in the second half of 2023. They were second in the India vs Korea BGMI Invitational, where eight South Korean teams also competed. The club was eighth in the second edition of the BGMS. However, the firm bid goodbye to its players in December 2023.
In January 2024, the organization signed Gladiator Esports' roster, which was arguably the best BGMI lineup of 2023. Unfortunately, the squad failed to perform well in a few notable tournaments. The team was 14th in the Snapdragon Pro Series. Their best performance under the banner came in the Skyesports Mobile Open 2024, where they ranked fourth in the overall standings.
Gods Reign have now signed an underdog squad and will hope for a good start in BGMS Season 3. The team has already reached the venue for the contest, which will be held in Delhi NCR.
