Mortal confirms some major changes in Team Soul’s BGMI lineup
Mortal confirmed that there will be some major changes in Team Soul’s BGMI roster. Although he didn’t mention anything directly, he said that this was all happening with the mutual understanding of all parties. The team recently secured the fourth rank in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024, which ended on June 30. Several organizations are now making changes in their squads ahead of the BGMS Season 3.
Earlier in January this year, Team Soul recruited the former players of Blind Esports. Just before the signing, the lineup had won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2023, an official BGMI major event. The team has continued their consistent performance under the banner of this organization so far.
Despite their impressive run, there will be some changes in Team Soul. Esports organizations are now preparing themselves for the upcoming two majors: BGMS Season 3 and BMPS. The first half of the BGMI 2024 esports season has already ended, which featured many top-tier tournaments.
Mortal reacts to rumors about changes in Team Soul's BGMI lineup
In his recent livestream, Mortal said:
"Here is a quick update for you guys. There are some of the rumors doing the rounds are true and a few changes will be made in the team. Whatever change is happening in Team Soul is due to mutual understanding, nothing is one-sided."
There are rumors on social media that Spower would leave the organization. These rumors started spreading after his father was spotted at Godlike Esports' bootcamp. He was also a member of the organization before joining Team Soul. However, Mortal has not specified which rumors he is talking about.
Recently, Team Soul coach Mayavi also said that he will try Jokerr in the playing four in the upcoming BGMS Season 3. He is the fifth player and has played rarely in the playing four in the last few months. The organization hopes to emerge as a champion.
Team Soul had a decent run in the BGIS 2024 as their squad registered fourth place there and earned ₹15 lakh in prize money. The superstar lineup, under the captaincy of Manya, has been performing nicely in the last few years.
Their objective will be to win the Masters Series Season 3, which will see a total of 24 teams fighting across three weeks. The BMPS 2024 will also begin in August and will run until September 29 and boasts ₹2 crore in prize money.
