Sid confirms Team Soul’s new player for BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3
Sid Joshi confirmed that Saumay is the new player of Team Soul's BGMI lineup for the upcoming BGMS Season 3. However, the organisation has not yet officially announced the name of its new signing. There are already rumors circulating on social media about Saumay joining the club, which has now proven to be true. He will play his first LAN event in the Masters Series Season 3.
The lineup, led by Manya, has been consistent for a long time. The organization signed the squad in January this year. They achieved fourth place in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024, which concluded last month. After this event, the team has now added a new player.
There are also rumors about Spower leaving the lineup. A few days ago, Naman Mortal Mathur had reacted to those rumors and said that there would be some changes in the squad, but he did not mention any specific names.
Team Soul to sign Saumay as a fifth BGMI player
In his recent livestream, former Team Soul's esports manager Sid said that Saumay is the fifth player in the lineup. He mentioned (translated from Hindi):
"We have add one player only for the BGMS, which is decided by Many & Co. we will see how that underdog performs in the BGMS. If that works out, we can move with him. Saumay, his name has already been revealed, he has also changed his name, so there is no any secret. Saumay is the firth player. IGl, analysts and coach trust him. This is a kind of trial, I guess."
Saumay is a rising BGMI player who has previously played for Enigma Gaming. He won the Skyesports POVA Cup last year. He will now have an excellent opportunity to demonstrate his ability under the new banner.
Saumay has shown his class in a few tournaments. He has also posted some of his brilliant gameplay videos on his Instagram page, which displays his skills and gaming sense. His main focus will be to perform well in the BGMS Season 3 and continue his journey with Team Soul.
The organization has already received an invite to the BGMI Masters Series, which is slated to be played from July 19 to August 11. 24 teams will be seen competing for a massive prize pool in the contest. Team Soul's eyes will be on the title as the club has not clinched any major trophies for a long time.
