Skyesports BGMI Championship 2024: Registration, dates, and venue
The Skyesports Championship 2024 for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) was announced by the organization. Registration for the event started on October 28, 2024. Players can register their teams through Skyesports' Discord server. The Finale will be held on December 14 and 15, 2024 at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bangalore, Karnataka.
The organiser has not yet revealed the complete format of the BGMI Championship 2024 but it has been declared that it will follow a 10-point scoring system. The total prize pool of the event has also not been disclosed yet. The previous editions of the Skyesports Championship were successful as they had garnered significant viewership.
Minimum requirements for Skyesports BGMI Championship 2024 registration
All players must be atleast 16 years old to compete in the tournament. Apart from this, they must have a minimum ranking of Platinum in TPP mode of BGMI and be at least level 20 level at the time of registration. All athletes must install the latest version of the title to compete in the event.
Registration is already open for all BGMI teams through the Skyesports' Discord server. The organiser did not mention whether popular teams would be directly invited to participate in the event.
Skyesports has organised many major tournaments in the past five years. They will aim to make the upcoming event more exciting for fans. This will be the third edition of the tournament.

The previous edition of the event, named Skyesports Championship 5.0, was held from October 17 to November 5, 2023. It featured a total prize pool of ₹12.5 lakh. Blind Esports was the winner of the season. Revenant and OR Esports finished second and third respectively.
The inaugural edition of this championship was hosted in September 2021. It was named the Skyesports Championship 3.0 and had a total prize pool of ₹26 lakh. GodLike Esports was the champion, with 7Sea and 8Bit claiming the second and third spots. Sachin Tendulkar, a cricket veteran, honored the winners of this championship 3.0.
