Skyesports BGMI Championship 2024 Upper and Lower Brackets Day 2: Overall standings and summary
Day 2 of the Skyesports BGMI Championship 2024 Upper and Lower Brackets was played on December 11, 2024. Gods Reign maintained its dominance in the Upper Bracket and remained in the top spot after 12 matches, while WindGod Esports topped the Lower Bracket. Only six matches are left in both brackets.
A total of 16 BGMI teams have been seeded in each bracket. The first- to eighth-ranked teams from the Upper Bracket will directly qualify for the Grand Finals. However, the bottom eight teams from the Upper Bracket and the top eight from the Lower Bracket will contest in the Final Survival Round for eight spots in the Finals.
Day 2 highlights of Skyesports BGMI Championship 2024 Upper and Lower Brackets
Upper Bracket
Gods Reign had another great day, as the Destro-led lineup maintained its consistency and remained in the prime spot, with 124 points and four Chicken Dinners. Team Soul also played well, and remained in second spot, with 95 points and one Chicken Dinner. Blitz, Team Jelly, and Sky came third, fourth, and fifth, with 86, 83, and 78 points, respectively.
Gujarat Tigers stumbled on Day 2 and slipped to sixth position, with 75 points. Team Hunter and Carnival Gaming were seventh and eighth, with 74 and 70 points, respectively. Venom Gaming faced a challenging Day 2, falling to ninth place, with 58 points.
Team GodLike had another mediocre day, as the Punk-led BGMI squad came 12th in the standings, with 51 points. Orangutan was 13th, with 48 points and one Chicken Dinner. WSB Gaming and TWM collected 48 and 36 points, respectively. Vasista Esports, the Red Bull M.E.O 2024 BGMI champions, slumped to 16th rank, with 32 points.
Lower Bracket
WindGod Esports delivered brilliant results on Day 2 in the Lower Bracket. It moved up to first place, with 104 points and three Chicken Dinners. LEFP also performed well, jumping to second place (with 98 points and one Chicken Dinner).
With 90 points, Blind Esports managed to finish third in the standings, closely followed by 4Merical Esports (with 84 points). Inferno Squad failed to maintain consistency on Day 2, as the team slipped from first to fifth spot, with 75 points.
Team Forever performed well on Day 2, and jumped to eighth place, with 68 points. Medal ranked 10th, with 61 points. Team Versatile and K9 Squad have collected only 54 and 51 points, respectively. TWOB was still at the bottom, with 17 points.
