Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series Season 6: Complete format explained

Season 6 of the Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series started on December 4, 2024, and will run until February 2, 2025. The event featuring several underdogs and experienced teams from across India has a total prize pool of ₹1 crore. The Qualifier 1 of the tournament has already concluded, while the Qualifier 2 is all set to kick off on December 13.

Season 5 of the Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series was held earlier this year with an identical prize pool. The Grand Finals which was organized at the Noida Indoor Stadium, was clinched by Saumraj-led Entity Gaming. Similarly, the Grand Finals of this ongoing edition will also be hosted offline.

The Pro Series is being held in four different stages, including Open Qualifier, Open Finals, Challenge Season, and Challenge Finals.

1) Open Qualifier

Qualifier 1 - December 4 to 11, 2024

Registration for the Qualifier 1 was held from November 25 to December 3. All the registered teams participated in this phase from December 4 to 11. The top 12 teams achieved a spot in the Open Finals.

Qualifier 2 - December 13 to 18, 2024

Registration for the Qualifier 2 was held from December 1 to 12. All registered teams will now fight in this phase from December 13 to 18, with the top 12 teams advancing to the Open Finals.


2) Open Finals - December 20 to 22, 2024

The top 12 teams from each Qualifier will contest in the Open Finals from December 20 to 22. The first to 16th-ranked teams from the points table will earn a spot in the Challenge Season. While the bottom eight teams will face elimination from the Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series Season 6.


3) Challenge Season - December 27, 2024 to January 19, 2025

The Challenge Season will feature a total of 32 teams, including the top 16 from the Open Finals and 16 directly invited teams. This stage will be played across 12 days. While the best 16 BGMI teams from the overall rankings will be selected for the Challenge Finals, the remaining teams will be knocked out.


4) Challenge Finals (LAN Finals) - January 31 to February 2, 2025

The ultimate stage, named Challenge Finals, will be played offline. The top 16 teams from the Challenge Season will clash against each other for a huge prize pool of ₹1 crore.
