Team GodLike eliminated from Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024
Team GodLike, a fan favorite BGMI team, has been eliminated from the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024. The Jelly-led squad failed to deliver in the Semifinals Week 2. The team had struggled throughout this mega competition and this was another disappointing event. The organization has now faced failures in four consecutive official BGMI tournaments.
Team GodLike stumbled during both weeks of the Semifinals. The club recently added Simp and Admino in the lineup. Jonathan, a key player of the squad, also did not appear in his usual form in the India series.
The BGIS 2024 has reached its final phase, called the Grand Finals. The 16 finalists have been chosen after multiple rounds, and they will contest in Hyderabad for the coveted trophy and a mega prize pool of ₹2 crore.
GodLike Esports’ performance in BGIS Semifinals Week 2
The second week of the Semifinals was held from June 13 to 16, and there were a total of eight open spots for the Grand Finals. GodLike obtained the 15th rank with 82 points, which included 62 eliminations. The team also secured one Chicken Dinner in their 16 matches.
The lineup made a terrible start to this crucial phase as they gained only six points on Day 1, when they played four matches. The Jelly-led brigade showed slight improvement on Day 2 but it was not enough to keep them in a strong position on the overall leaderboard.
Team GodLike was not able to improve their performance in the last two days as well. Despite the addition of two players, the club didn’t live up to their fans’ expectations.
Entity Gaming also failed in the Semifinals Week 2 and was eliminated from the BGIS 2024. The Saumraj-led lineup finished just one place ahead of GodLike and collected 91 points. Carnival Gaming and MOGO were the top two teams in the stage. Insane, Reckoning, and 8Bit also did well there
