Team Soul drops to 17th place as Day 5 of BGMS Season 3 Survival Week ends

Team Soul's performances in BGMS Season 3 Survival Week continue to decline as the fan-favorite squad slipped to 17th in the overall standings after Day 5. Notably, the team's regular captain Manya is on break. In his absence, Nakul is captaining the team in the tournament. He will join the squad at the ongoing LAN in Delhi in the coming days.

Team Soul has accumulated 45 points in eight matches. The squad had a decent start to the Survival Week but suffered a sharp decline in performance in the past four days. However, Nakul stood second in the Wicked Player list with 20 finishes. The organization recently signed renowned prodigy Saumay ahead of the BGMS Season 3.

After the fifth day, Vasista Esports secured the first position with 93 points. Raven Esports has also performed spectacularly so far and finished second with 80 points. Team Orangutan embarked on a strong run on Day 5 and stood third with 79 points.

Team Soul's performance on Day 5

In the first encounter, Team Soul was sandwiched between Team Tamilas and Raven. The squad could only muster four points before getting eliminated by Team Tamilas in the initial circle. Saumay clinched two kills in the process. Team Z rose to the stage and secured this game. Global Esports and Team XSpark also delivered an emphatic run.

In the second game, Team Soul was once again sandwiched between Entity Gaming and Reckoning Esports. The Nakul-led lineup was obliterated without a single point. Reckoning won this match as well.

Team Soul will now aim to regroup and improve in the remaining seven matches of the Survival Week. Spower, a key player, recently left the team to join Carnival Gaming. Joker, who was not a regular member of the playing four, has played in all matches for the team at BGMS.
