Team Soul ranks first as Day 1 of BGIS 2024 LAN Finals ends
The first day of the BGIS 2024 Grand Finals concluded on Friday, June 28. Fan-favourite side Team Soul was in the prime position with 58 points, including 39 eliminations, when Day 1 ended. The Manya-led brigade played well on the opening day and also conquered one Chicken Dinner in six matches. The side will now strive to retain its momentum until the end of this stage and aim to lift the coveted trophy.
Global Esports struggled a bit in its first few matches of the day but got back on track in the last game by securing a 25-point Chicken Dinner. The Mavi-led squad is in the second position with 54 points on the overall scoreboard.
Team XSpark played offensively and fearlessly from the beginning, obtaining the third spot with 54 points, including 38 kills. Despite not winning a single game on Day 1, the Shadow-led squad saw a powerful start to its campaign in this round and will now hope to deliver the same results in the Finals' remaining days.

FS Esports and Venom Gaming had a great day, claiming the fourth and fifth ranks with 46 and 44 points, respectively. Team Insane got the sixth position with 37 points. Reckoning Esports played inconsistently but managed to acquire the seventh spot with 36 points.
Team 8Bit made a much-needed comeback in the fifth match of the BGIS 2024 Finals Day 1 and ended up in eighth place with 34 points and one Chicken Dinner.
Team Aaru, Team Tamilas, and Raven Esports are ninth, 10th, and 11th with 31, 29, and 27 points, respectively.
Carnival Gaming, saw a mediocre start to this stage, as they ended Day 1 in 12th place with 21 points. MOGO Esports, led by Destro, also stumbled and came 13th with 21 points.
Vasista and Limra Esports clinched only 18 points each, at an average of three points per game. Inferno Squad is in the last position with 12 points after its poor start to the Finals.
