A day after Godlike's exit from the India series, Amar thanked fans for their support and apologized for the team's performance:

“Dear Fans, Thank you for your unwavering support. We apologize for not meeting expectations recently and share your disappointment. We're heading back to the drawing board to address our shortcomings. In the coming days, we will provide the answers you deserve. Your patience and belief mean everything to us. Together, we'll come back stronger”.

Under the captaincy of Jelly, the team directly played in the fourth round of the BGIS 2024 after finishing in the top 16 at the Grind event. The squad struggled in Round 4 and fell to the wildcard stage. Despite advancing to the Semifinals, the team failed to improve and suffered a setback.

Team GodLike was the fourth-best performer in the Inaugural edition of the BGIS. The organization subsequently failed in the BMPS Season 1 in 2022, shortly before BGMI got banned. The team also struggled in the second edition of the India Series and the BMPS Season 2 in 2023.

The latest exit marked the fourth consecutive time that Team GodLike didn't qualify for the Grand Finals of a major official tournament. Prominent player Jonathan Gaming struggled through poor form and couldn't help his team grab a respectable spot in the India Series 2024. It will be interesting to see whether the organization makes any changes to the roster in the coming days.
