WSB Gaming signs BGMI stars Drigger and Shikarijod ahead of BGMS Season 3

WSB Gaming officially announced the inclusion of Drigger and Shikarijod in their BGMI lineup. This comes right after their former player Raiden was signed by Entity Gaming. The team has made changes in the roster after their recent failure in the BGIS 2024. With the addition of the two star players, their target will be to bounce back in the upcoming major tournaments.

The team will be seen competing in the BGMS Season 3, a grand BGMI tournament, slated to be played from July 19, 2024. Krafton has already revealed the third season of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS), which is set to commence in August 2024 with a massive prize of ₹2 crore.

On July 9, 2024, the club announced their roster for the BGMS Season 3. Here is the six-man squad:

  1. Arman - Arman
  2. Zeref - Raj
  3. AnujTooOP - Anuj Dhankar
  4. Godz - Meghraj Jaat
  5. Drigger - Shubham Singh Quiriya
  6. Shikarijod - Kanwal Preet Singh

Drigger recently left Orangutan Gaming after playing more than three years for the club. He is an experienced athlete and has participated in several major tournaments in the past. His inclusion will definitely add strength to the team. While playing for Orangutan, he contributed to their second-position finish in the BGMS Season 2.

Shikarijod is a rising star and came into the limelight under the Reckoning Esports' banner earlier this year. Despite claiming a third position in the BGIS 2024, he left the team and has now been signed by WSB Gaming. He attracted everyone's attention in the last few months with his exceptional performance.

Arman, Zeref, Anuj, and Godz remain in the squad. Raiden left the team in June, right after the team was eliminated from the BGIS 2024. The lineup had below-average results in the last three months. However, the team was the winner of the Skyesports Champions Series 2024, which was held in March.

WSB Gaming was formed after the re-release of the BGMI in May 2023. The club has performed impressively in a few tournaments but hasn't achieved a respectable spot in any major tournaments so far. They ranked 11th in the Season 2 of the BGMS last year.

WSB Gaming also failed to perform well in the official BGMI tournaments played in the last year. Their eyes will definitely be on the upcoming BMPS Season 3 title.
