“Airfare and hotels are covered" - Mr. Olympia celebrates 60 year anniversary with a huge surprise for Olympia-qualified athletes
Mr. Olympia will be celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, and each athlete is excited to be on the Olympia stage. To celebrate the anniversary, Mr. Olympia Brazil has plans that will encourage more people toward the sport. They made a pretty big announcement just a few hours ago. Let's find what they hold for athletes to encourage them.
Bisandtris, a famous bodybuilding page, recently shared a post with the CEO of Musclecontest and producer of Olympia Weekend, Tamer El Gunidy. He announced that they are inviting Mr. Olympia's competitors to Brazil. The federation will be paying for the hotels and airfare expenses. Along with that, they will be paying for a two-day trip to Rio de Janeiro.
"This is a huge year for the milestone. Olympia is the sixth edition of the most prestigious and amazing show in the world. We want to continue the 60th celebration of the Mr. Olympia here in Brazil by inviting 50 Olympia athletes to come and compete at the Olympia Brazil, one week after the Mr. Olympia," stated Tamer El Gunidy.
The caption read:
"REPORT: All 2024 Mr. Olympia contenders are invited to compete at the Olympia in Brazil (Oct. 18-20). Airfare and hotels are covered, as well as a two-day trip to Rio de Janeiro following completion of the show."
The Mr. Olympia Brazil is scheduled for October 18–20, just one week after the most prestigious bodybuilding event.
The Muscle Contest's official page wrote:
"We want to continue the 60 year celebration of the Mr. Olympia in Brazil and we want to invite 50 Olympia athletes to come and compete the week after the Olympia at the Olympia Brazil."
They continued:
"If you’re interested in continue this great celebration in Brazil, please email Candice@musclecontest.com and let us know that you’re interested in competing or guest posing, and we will contact you and make the selections shortly. Please submit your statement of interest via email by Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Athletes selections will be announced on Friday, August 23, 2024."

After these two legends, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Phil Heath hold the record for seven Olympia wins.
