Chris Pratt looks forward to "good cigars, chess whoopings" and feeding barn animals as he wishes Arnold Schwarzenegger a happy birthday

One of the biggest legends in the sport of bodybuilding Arnold Schwarzenegger just turned 77 years old today (July 30).

Having created a legacy in the realm of bodybuilding as well as Hollywood, countless wishes poured in today to celebrate 'The Austrian Oak's birthday. One of these messages was a heartfelt wish from his son-in-law Chris Pratt. The Hollywood star graciously took a look back in time and extended his warm greetings to Arnold.

Married to his eldest daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger, Chris Pratt recently took to his social media and posted a series of photos with Arnold, writing a message for 'The Terminator.' Pratt wrote:

"Happy Birthday Arnold! You’re one of a kind. Looking forward to another year of sage advice, good cigars, chess whoopings and hand feeding homemade cookies to the many barn animals that live in your kitchen."

Pointing towards Arnold's love for animals, Chris Pratt talked about creating more memories with Schwarzenegger and his lovely barn animals. Quite subtly, Pratt also acknowledged the wisdom that Arnold Schwarzenegger always shares with him whenever the duo sits for a one-sided game of chess.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's love for cigars once led Chris Pratt to a contracting a lung infection

Along with the likes of Danny DeVito and Carl Weathers, another name in the long list of people who Arnold has influenced to try a cigar is son-in-law Chris Pratt.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's deep love for a good 'stogie' won't come as a surprise to anyone at this point. But what many fans might not know is the fact that this affection of 'The Governator' for cigars once led Chris Pratt to a lung infection.

The incident dates back to May 2022, when Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt were blessed with a lovely daughter, Eloise Schwarzenegger. To celebrate her birth, grandpa Arnold visited the couple with a box of exotic cigars. After being invited by his father-in-law for a smoke together, Chris Pratt couldn't say no.

During his time on 'The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon,' the Jurassic World actor narrated the tale of how his asthma got the better of him once while smoking cigars with Arnold.

"There's peer pressure — and then there is Arnold Schwarzenegger. 'You've got it' he said and I was like yeah! So we smoked the cigars and the next day I woke up with a massive lung infection," said Chris Pratt.

Chris Pratt and Arnold Schwarzenegger apparently share a lovely bond. Pratt openly admits to taking inspiration and using Arnold's wisdom in different chapters of his life. Arnold as well, has only good things to say about his charming son-in-law.
