In Pictures: Arnold Schwarzenegger meets WWE icon CM Punk during hectic Fubar S02 shoot
After the immense success and appreciation that Arnold Schwarzenegger's TV Series Fubar has garnered, 'The Austrian Oak' is currently working extra hard for the upcoming season 2. And while he was in Toronto to film the next season, so was WWE icon CM Punk.
Punk, who was in town for Money in the Bank weekend posted a photo dump on his Instagram handle, which included a picture where he could be seen sharing the frame with bodybuilding legend Schwarzenegger.
"Toronto photo dump. Friends and family edition. Get your ass to mars," Punk wrote.
Arnold Schwarzenegger's connections with the WWE Universe date back more than four decades. Even though Arnold punched the brains out of Triple H back in 1999, followed by slamming The Miz in 2014, he has mostly maintained good friendships with WWE stars.
Sharing a smile, the duo posed elegantly for the picture. While we don't know for sure where the duo met in Toronto, one thing that history tells us is that Fubar S02 will be nothing short of a huge blockbuster as well. Expected to release in 2025, the cast and crew are in full swing, working extra shifts to make sure the next season also tops Netflix's US charts.
Throwback to Arnold Schwarzenegger's huge announcement
Not long ago, seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger rewrote history as his Fubar character Luke Brunner became the largest action figure ever.
"Get to the choppa! FUBAR S2 is in production. it’s gonna be big, like guinness world record big," Arnold wrote via Instagram.
Recognized by Guinness World Records for this, the action figure stands tall at a whopping 22 feet. Placed at ShowFX in Santa Fe Springs, California, the action figure is even taller than an average Giraffe.
This figure is not only physically appealing but is also fully functional just as a normal action figure is. Alongside the grand reveal, Arnold Schwarzenegger also proudly stated that:
"Season 2 is going to be the biggest. It’s the biggest action figure ever built.”
What amazed fans the most was the fact that the announcement was made just days after he revealed getting a pacemaker for his genetic heart condition. However, sensing the air around him, Schwarzenegger addressed his fans and stated via Instagram:
“I’ve gotten so many kind messages from all over the world, but a lot of people have asked if my pacemaker will cause any problems with FUBAR Season 2. Absolutely not. I will be ready to film in April.”
Given his history of heart surgeries, Arnold's announcement instantly relieved his fans from all their worries. With Arnold Schwarzenegger's unreal influence and the show's extremely interesting plot, fans can't wait for the release of the next season.
