How Arnold Schwarzenegger developed a love for American football
Arnold Schwarzenegger had explained how he developed an interest in American football earlier this year. The bodybuilding legend shared that he got to know about the sport from his buddies at Gold Gym. He went to the New Heights podcast with the Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, and made some interesting revelations.
The seven-time Mr. Olympia stated that he was in awe of the sport's popularity in America, along with being a fan of fans enjoying themselves with food and drinks at the stadium. But when he asked about the rules and all how all the rules had changed over the years, he said that he had had to learn about them from his sons.
"So they explained it to me step by step… I learned very quickly how much children love to educate the parents,” said Arnold Schwarzenegger. [01:00:21]
Now, the bodybuilder always tries and catch a game with his sons. His girlfriend Heather Milligan is also a huge football fan, and her profession (physiotherapy) enables her to treat football players on a regular basis.
"She is really a fanatic about sports and about especially about football," mentioned the Austrian Oak. [01:01:35]
The bodybuilding legend had met his girlfriend Heather Milligan for the first time in 2012 after he had to recover from a shoulder injury and needed to get back 100%.
The seven-time Mr. Olympia is a fan of the sport and never misses any Super Bowl events. Interestingly, he was seen in a Super Bowl commercial earlier this year with Twins co-star Danny DeVito, which was nominated for the Emmys.
