“Steroids & CGI = Hugh Jackman in a movie”: Greg Doucette calls out actor for “lying” about eating 6,000 calories to prepare for his movie
Hugh Jackman has made headlines with his insane transformation for Deadpool & Wolverine. The Hollywood star recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and opened up about his massive 6,000-calorie diet in preparation for the role.
Fallon asked Jackman about the specifics of his diet, to which he replied:
"It’s 6,000 calories, and it’s not the calories you necessarily want. Like, half a pizza is 6,000 calories. But no, this is chicken, and it’s tilapia and beans. Tilapia and beans. I don’t know why tilapia. It must be some fish that is lean, and green beans." (via Men's Health)
However, IFBB Pro coach Greg Doucette is not convinced by the actor's claims and said in his latest YouTube video:
"We're going to show you and I promise it's not AI. We're going to watch Hugh Jackman start yapping, lying yet again and y'all are believing him as if that scene wasn't full of CGI in the first place. Steroids and CGI equals Hugh Jackman in a movie." [00:52]
Responding to Jackman's comment that you could get 6,000 calories from half a pizza, Doucette said:
"Is it a freaking floppy disc Pizza the size of a Drake taco? No there's not 12,000 calories in a pizza and so the first thing need to know is Hugh Jackman has zero clue about what calories are in anything." [01:32]
Coach Greg also commented on Jackman's chicken, tilapia, and beans meal:
"Think of it tilapia and green beans. Now listen Hugh, those are things you do on a cut and why the tilapia cuz it's low in calories. There's about one calorie per gram AK 100 calories per 100 grams or about a 1,000 calories in a 1,000 grams. And so you're going to try to convince me that you're eating tilapia and beans and you're getting in 6,000 calories a day."[02:00]
