“They win, they were right”: Greg Doucette admits being wrong, as Tren Twins win debut bodybuilding show

Currently viral bodybuilding brothers, Tren Twins, Christian and Michael Gaiera, shocked the bodybuilding community with their insane physique at their debut bodybuilding show. Competing at the NPC Southern States Championship, the duo secured first and second positions in Classic and open divisions.

Their former coach and IFBB Pro bodybuilding veteran, Greg Doucette recently made a video on their performance at the NPC show and gave his honest views.

Doucette, who was originally supposed to coach the twins for their debut show, got into an undisclosed conflict with them. Reportedly, the issue was about the Tren Twins not following the diet and dosages suggested to them by Greg Doucette. However, despite all the drama, the latter recently admitted in his video that the twins proved him wrong.

“They both proved me wrong…I'm first to admit that I said they wouldn't get to the stage and yet they did and so I am wrong, they win they were right,” he said (02:41)

While the Tren Twins stated previously that they intended to win their IFBB Pro cards at their debut show itself, their dreams were shattered. However, the duo did perform exceptionally well considering this was their first bodybuilding show.

Doucette, who previously stated that the Tren Twins would not even make it to the show, admits being wrong as they secured first and second positions at the contest.

“I said they wouldn't make it to the stage..not only did they make it to the stage they won the novice class and Chris [Christian] got second in the open category against all of the classic physique guys and so he did amazing and so he in fact proved me wrong," he added. (02:26)

Greg Doucette shares views on Tren Twins' physique

Further, giving his views on their physiques, Greg Doucette stated that Chris did present a phenomenal shape.

“Looking at him [Christian] in the novice class..its a dominating victory. He clearly outcasts these guys both in shape, size and conditioning..everything was deserving a first place!” (02:50)

Talking further about Mike (Michael), Greg Doucette admits that despite having not-so-good abdomens, he compensates for that with hamstrings and arms. Even though Doucette believes they could have been more conditioned, he added that Mike still easily dominated the entire lineup of athletes at the NPC Southern States Championship.

Winning a pro card is not a child’s play by any means. It takes years of discipline, countless hours of posing practice, and hardcore training and diet. Despite not winning their IFBB Pro cards this year, the Tren Twins did manage to perform exceptionally well.
