After years of speculation, the fight between Floyd Mayfeather and Manny Pacquiao could be a reality if reports from certain sections of the media are to be believed. According to reliable sources, Pacquiao completed his contractual agreements on Saturday and it is expected that Mayweather will follow suit as he is set to make an official announcement at the NBA All-Star game this Sunday.

Both boxers met in Miami last month when media was abuzz with talks of a match any time soon. The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas is expected to play host to the fight. May 2 is said to be the tentative date for the fight at the moment, although two other dates are also doing the rounds.

Mayweather’s adviser Al Haymon has chalked out a deal with Pacquiao about the American getting a 60 percent cut of the revenue for the fight. It will be the richest match-up in boxing history if the two pugulists face off in Vegas in May.
