Ronda Rousey taunts Floyd Mayweather after winning ESPY Best Fighter
Yesterday the ESPY Awards was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. One of the main highlight of the show was Ronda Rousey winning the “Best Fighter” award. She was presented the award during ESPN's preshow, red-carpet coverage. It came as a surprise to lot of people as she won the award over the likes of dominant athletes such as the famous pound-for-pound boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Ronda couldn't resist throwing a jab at "Money", as she said “I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once.” this was in reference to Money’s history of domestic violence against women and multiple arrests. She continued her verbal assault on the unbeaten boxer by saying,"I'd like to see you [May] pretend not to know who I am now," referring to one of Floyd’s interview in the past, where he had claimed not to be familiar with Rousey.
Other nomination for the category was a fellow MMA artist Donald Cerrone, and boxers Terence Crawford and Gennady Golovkin. ‘Rowdy’ also won the “Best Female Athlete” award.
