Tata Steel Chess 2024: Full schedule, timings, complete list of participants and live-streaming details
The Tata Steel Chess 2024 promises to enthral chess fans around the world. The upcoming competition will be held at the Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium in Kolkata from November 13 to 17. This will be the sixth edition of the iconic annual event, with the first being in 2019.
Top chess players from around the world will compete for glory in both the Open and Women's categories. The tournament will be played in the rapid and blitz format. Some of the star players who will be seen in action include former world champion Magnus Carlsen and World No. 2 Arjun Erigaisi.
The Indian contingent will be backing themselves to do well after a gold-medal winning campaign at the recent Chess Olympiad in Budapest. Chess veteran and legend Viswanathan Anand will be serving as the ambassador of the prestigious tournament.
