The 2024 season belonged to Tennessee Baseball, which enjoyed arguably one of the strongest seasons in program history. With stars like Christian Moore and Billy Amick leading the charge, the Vols dominated NCAA baseball this year, winning every title possible.

Here is a look at four prestigious titles clinched by the program in 2024.

4. SEC Regular Season

The Volunteers enjoyed a strong regular season, winning their second SEC regular season title in three years and fifth in program history. However, a loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores on May 12th saw them share the honors with the rising Kentucky Wildcats, who won the title for only the second time in program history.

Both teams went 22-8 in the conference, displaying their incredible consistency to notch up victories on several occasions. While both teams dominated the SEC East, the Arkansas Razorbacks took the SEC West division title with a 20-10 record.

3. SEC Tournament

The Volunteers suffered a 4-13 defeat to the Commodores in the opening game of the tournament. Following that loss, they did not look back, winning the next four games to clinch the title.

In their four-game winning streak, they beat the Texas A&M Aggies, the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Commodores before scoring a narrow 4-3 victory over the LSU Tigers in the championship game. First baseman Blake Burke was named the MVP of the tournament.

2. College World Series

The Volunteers swept the competition in the Knoxville Regional before beating the Evansville Purple Aces 2-1 in the Knoxville Super Regional to make the field of eight in Omaha. They proved they were the team to beat in Charles Schwab Field, beating the Florida State Seminoles twice and the North Carolina Tar Heels en route to the finals.

They faced the Texas A&M Aggies in the finals, who were unbeaten in the entire postseason. After losing Game 1, Tony Vitello's brigade scripted two narrow victories to clinch their maiden College World Series title. Dylan Dreiling, who homered in all three games of the finals, was named the MVP of the tournament.

1. First team to win 60 games in SEC history

The Volunteers' 6-5 win over the Aggies in Game 3 of the College World Series finals won them more than just their first College World Series title. It was their 60th win of the season, making them the first team in SEC history to achieve the feat.
